The mission for STEM-UP Network of Harrisburg University (STEM-UP) is to expand on an already existing set of programs and services and an existing network of professional and academic women in STEM within which women can thrive and prosper. Specifically, STEM-UP builds capacity and community through research- and evidence-based programs, activities, and platforms/resources. The purpose of these activities and resources is to provide network members with real-world strategies and relationships that support their ability to flourish, prosper and advance, e.g. take on more leadership roles, and, in turn, to be best able to role model advancement and success within STEM professions for other women.
