Book:  Lessons in Chemistry

StemUp Book Club<br />

The STEM-UP Network Book Club is a space dedicated to exploring empowering women and building confidence through the lens of “The Confidence Code” and similar works. This book club is designed for individuals eager to enhance their self-assurance and unlock their full potential.

Mission:

Our mission is to create a supportive community that encourages self-discovery and personal growth by delving into literature that addresses the complexities of confidence. This summer, “Confidence Code” has given us the tools to build and share techniques to take charge in our professional lives. As we move into Fall, we will implement those lessons for ourselves, while sharing the experiences of Elizabeth Zott in “Lessons in Chemistry.”

Discussion Format:

Our discussions are open, honest, and focused on personal reflections. Members are encouraged to share their experiences, challenges, and triumphs in a supportive environment. Through dialogue, we aim to uncover practical tips and actionable takeaways that help each member on their journey to building and sustaining confidence.

Meeting Frequency:

We gather monthly to discuss the selected book of the cohort. Whether you’re a seasoned professional, a student navigating challenges, or someone simply seeking a confidence boost, you’ll find a warm and welcoming community ready to explore the transformative power of confidence.

2nd Tuesday at 7:30pm via Teams
