Carol S. Eicher, Independent Director
Carol Eicher is a chemical industry executive, corporate board director, and the former Chairman and CEO of Innocor, Inc a manufacturer of flexible foam for the bedding and furniture industries.
After receiving her undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, she started her career in operations with the Dupont Company and went on to business management and senior executive roles at Ashland, Inc, Rohm and Haas and Dow Chemical. After retiring from public company roles, Eicher became involved with several private equity funds.
She has served on ten corporate boards over the past 15 years and is presently a director at Arq, Tennant Company, Pinnacle West Capital, NOVA Chemicals and EcoMaterial Technologies. She is Chair of the Board of Directors of Fairmount Park Conservancy. She also serves as the Secretary of the Board of Trustees of York College.
Throughout her career, she has prided herself in being a role model of leadership, creating a culture of accountability and transparency and respect for individuals. She often speaks of her greatest achievements in terms of individuals she has mentored and helped to develop.
She is a proud and supportive alum (MBA, ’90) of York College having established two scholarship funds. The first was created when her mother Doris Cohen, also a York alum, passed away in 2013, and is granted to students in art and design. The second fund created in 2020, is designed to support female students in science and engineering and it is underwriting the cost of this event.
