Sara Russell, Analysis Engineer, Curtiss-Wright

Sara earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics, as well as a minor in Mathematics, from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, along with a Certificate in Nuclear Engineering. She intends to further her studies through the Nuclear Engineering graduate program at the University of Pittsburgh next year.

Since completing her undergraduate education, she has been employed as a Dynamics and Hydraulics Analyst at Curtiss Wright’s Electro-Mechanical Division. In this role, she focuses on dynamics, rotor-dynamics, bearings, and acoustic analysis. In her spare time, she enjoys exercising, crafting, and spending time with her cat.
