Gladys Kline, Vice President for Partners and Alliances, GDT (General Datatech)

As the Vice President for Partners and Alliances at GDT, I am responsible for driving the strategic partnership between partners and GDT. I am primarily focused on developing and executing the GDT partner business strategy, which includes driving growth, sales, and profitability. I am also responsible for ensuring that GDT is up to date with certifications, training programs, tools, support, and incentives.  Prior to my current roles, I held several leadership roles at Nortel, Cisco and Core BTS.  Those roles included responsibilities for both sales and technical expertise and provided me the opportunity to contribute as an individual contributor, first line manager as well as an executive leader.

I am the proud daughter of two immigrants from the Philippines, where my sister and I were born, and I am honored to be the mom to two amazing daughters. My eldest daughter, Ariana is a bachelor’s graduate of the University of Connecticut and a master’s graduate from Clemson University, where she also played division 1 lacrosse. Ariana now has a successful, early in career sales role in Boston, MA.  My youngest daughter, Gabrielle is a bachelor’s graduate University of Delaware and is currently pursuing your Doctor of Physical Therapy from Saint Joseph’s University.  I am also an active participant in STEM programs, and I have presented to multiple organizations on the value of science, technology, engineering, and math in the elementary and high school curriculums, especially for members of marginalized communities.  At Cisco, I was an active member of various Inclusive Communities, and I served as a regional co-lead for the Americas with the Connected Black Professionals organization and as an Executive Sponsor for the Filipino Professional Network. I am passionate about diversity, equality and inclusion and I am eager to contribute to organizations and indicatives that focus in these areas.
