Dr. Mandy Harshberger is a seasoned healthcare leader and educator with over two decades of experience in respiratory care, clinical education, and academic program management. She currently serves as the Pulmonary Services Operations Manager at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, where she provides strategic leadership across respiratory care services, outpatient pulmonary diagnostics, rehabilitation, and operating room procedures. Her work focuses on enhancing access to quality care, improving patient experience, and driving operational excellence through collaboration and innovation.

Dr. Harshberger earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Management with a concentration in Education Policy from Drexel University, complementing her Master of Education in Lifelong Learning and Adult Education from Penn State Harrisburg, where she also obtained a graduate certificate in Adult Education in the Health and Medical Professions. Her foundational clinical education includes a Bachelor of Science in Health-Related Professions and an Associate of Science in Respiratory Care from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.

Her leadership journey includes roles such as Respiratory Care Clinical Supervisor at UPMC West Shore, where she led system-wide initiatives like the Percutaneous Tracheostomy and Pressure Injury Prevention programs, and Program Director/Instructor of Respiratory Care at Reading Area Community College, where she reimagined curriculum and led the program to multiple CoARC Distinguished RRT Credentialing Success Awards.

Dr. Harshberger has also held key educational roles at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and YTI Career Institute, where she championed process improvements, developed leadership pathways, and fostered inclusive learning environments. Her clinical expertise spans neonatal, pediatric, and adult respiratory care, with a strong focus on critical care, policy development, and simulation-based education.
