Meg Garber, Nursing Professional Development Practitioner, Wellspan Health

Meg is a Nursing Professional Development Practitioner at WellSpan Health, focused on supporting medical assistants and nursing assistants.  Her core mission is retaining qualified, compassionate staff through education and mentorship.

She started in healthcare in 1992 with a certification in medical assisting from Brownstown Vocational Technical School. Her academic background includes degrees in psychology, general studies, and nursing from Ashford University, Harrisburg Area Community College, Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences, and Chamberlain University.

Meg is experienced in both clinical and administrative roles, including internal medicine office management and cosmetic dermatology. She is certified in medical assisting, ECG, phlebotomy, coding, and practice management. She contributed to national certification exam development as a subject matter expert with Ascend Learning.
