Melissa Sinemus grew up outside of Pittsburgh in Latrobe, PA, and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2016 with a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering. While in college she participated in a Co-Op program at ATI’s Latrobe melt shop and continues her career there today. She has held Process Engineering roles of increasing responsibility and today is a Process Engineering Manager for the Latrobe, PA and Lockport, NY melt and remelt shops which produce specialty Ni and Co Alloys for the energy, aerospace, and defense markets. Outside of work, she enjoys any and every outdoor activity, including hiking, biking, kayaking, skiing, and lounging in the sun with a beer and a book.
