Dr. Raz Abdulqadir, Science Researcher, Penn State College of Medicine

Raz Abdulqadir, PhD, MSc, is a biomedical scientist, researcher, and scientific writer with more than 10 years of experience in biomedical and translational research. She earned her PhD in Biomedical Sciences from Penn State College of Medicine and currently conducts research focused on inflammatory bowel disease, microbiome biology, and intestinal health. Raz is passionate about mentoring the next generation of scientists and helping students, particularly women in STEM, explore opportunities in scientific research, healthcare, and industry. Through her research, scientific communication, and leadership experiences, she is committed to making science accessible, meaningful, and inspiring for the next generation.
