Terri Black-Bendl is the Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Appalachia Technologies, a leading cybersecurity and managed service provider in Mechanicsburg, PA. With over three decades in the tech industry.

Terri began her tech journey in the early 90s, training local schools and businesses on Microsoft Office and the Internet. In 1995, she became the first female LAN Administrator at Harrisburg TRANE to take maternity leave, paving the way for others. After 15 years in IT, she transitioned to IT Sales in 2011 and joined Appalachia Technologies in 2016. Promoted to VP in 2022, she leads strategic initiatives with her technical and business expertise. She spearheaded the annual Appalachia Advance event, providing high-quality educational content. Terri actively mentors others, participates in webinars, and engages in community events. Her efforts earned her a nomination for the Women in Technology Awards by the Technology Council of Central PA.
