Yumi McClellan, Junior Project Manager/Team Lead, JMA Resources, Inc.

Yumi McClellan is a Junior Project Manager in the R&D department at JMA Resources, Inc. and proudly serves as an organizational ambassador for the InnovateHers Collective Employee Resource Group. She is deeply committed to leadership and community impact—whether that’s mentoring colleagues, supporting inclusion efforts, or coaching her daughter’s youth development soccer team.

Her career began in education after earning her undergraduate degree in mathematics. While teaching students from grade 7 through college and completing her master’s degree in mathematics, Yumi discovered her passion for mentorship and leadership, taking on roles that allowed her to support both academic programs and student organizations.

After transitioning from teaching, Yumi gained experience in supply chain management at Ahold before joining JMA Resources Inc. At JMA, she has been especially excited to help launch InnovateHers with her colleagues and to be part of company initiatives that give back to the community.

Yumi is passionate about creating welcoming spaces where people can learn, grow, and thrive. Grateful for the mentors who have guided her along the way, she is dedicated to offering that same encouragement and support to others.
